Our school has been identified as ‘an ambitious place to learn’ where ‘leaders are uncompromising in their drive to give pupils the very best education’ and most importantly, that your children ‘have a palpable excitement for school and all it has to offer’ and ‘become mature, well rounded and community minded individuals who are ready for their next stage.’
Schools no longer receive a one-word grading. Instead, our report is broken down into five key areas and each is given an individual judgement. We are delighted to be in the top 20% of schools who received an ‘outstanding’ judgement in two of these key areas: Personal Development and Leadership and Management. Inspectors recognised in our report that, ‘leadership at all levels is remarkably strong’ and our team of staff, governors and trust are ‘unrelenting in their pursuit of excellence.’
Personal Development is an area of the curriculum close to our hearts, and we were delighted to see this aspect of school life identified as being ‘exceptionally well-designed' and that our ‘pupils benefit from an excellent programme to develop their character beyond the academic.’
