Extracurricular Activities for Summer Term 1 2026 

Enrolment for Summer Term 1 will open at 8:00pm on Thursday 26th March. Parents will be able to view available activities on the MCAS app under the ‘Available’ tab. To enrol, simply select your chosen activity, add it to your basket, and complete the checkout to secure a place. Please note that enrolment must be completed separately for each child, as activity availability varies by year group.

Each activity costs £2.50 per session and are non-refundable. Summer Term 1 activities will run from the week commencing 27th April to the week commencing 18th May, totalling 4 sessions. Please note that Monday activities will run for 3 sessions due to a Bank Holiday. All activities take place from 3:10pm to 4:00pm and collection is from the back gate (Matford Lane). Children booked into After School Club will be escorted there by the club leader at the end of the session.

We are committed to ensuring that children in receipt of Pupil Premium funding continue to benefit from these opportunities. Enrolment for Pupil Premium pupils will open 24 hours earlier, at 8:00pm on Wednesday 25th March, and there will be no charge for these pupils. If you think you could be entitled to Free School Meals/Pupil Premium, please confirm your eligibility via Online Free School Meals.

Please ensure that your contact information, as well as your child’s dietary and medical details, are correctly recorded in the Data Collection section of MCAS, as this information will be shared with activity leaders. If your child is in Year 3-6 and you wish for them to be released from the back gate at 4pm without an adult, please ensure the relevant consent is granted in the Parental Consent section on MCAS.

Spaces are limited. If an activity is full, you may add your child to the waiting list, and we will notify you if a place becomes available.

Once enrolled, your child’s activity will appear under the ‘Enrolled’ tab, where you will also be able to view the date of the next session.

We hope this new system makes the enrolment process simpler and more convenient for families.

• All activities run from 3.10pm - 4pm and collection is from the back gate (Matford Lane). PARKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE STAFF CAR PARK FOR PICK UP.
• All activities cost £10 for a block of 4 sessions (£2.50 per session). Monday activities cost £7.50 for a block of 3 sessions. This is a non-refundable charge.

All of our school-run Extracurricular Activities are completely free for all children in receipt of Pupil Premium funding. If you think you could be entitled to Free School Meals/Pupil Premium, please confirm your eligibility via Online Free School Meals.

We will do our very best to avoid cancelling activities but if it is unavoidable, we will notify parents via an app message as soon as possible. Please ensure the school office have your up to date contact details and you have access to the MCAS app.
